Social Media Marketing Strategy

Jason Falls wrote a very interesting article on Social Media Today about the reason why Social Media Purists won’t last. He was aware that replies to its critical approach to the Social Media industry could have been many and strong. As he said, he was expecting his social media friends to curse him. Nevertheless all comments he approved were positively reacting to his position. Were there negative comments? We won’t know that unless he will let us know.
As founder of Blomap and Swissite International, I posted my comment, I couldn’t help it…
However I perfectly agreed with his vision and added to this some possible social media strategy to reach business objectives.

My comment:
“I agree with you Jason and with most comments above. It’s high time we reduced the noise to something manageable for users and profitable for social media marketers.
First off, we need tools which enable people to select their interests and to remove the noise…otherwise they can give up and get rid of you once the noise comes to an unmanageable level. Second, once users have clearly sort out information they want to get, we should mostly knock at the right doors and leave out people who have not done their interests selection work.

This is the way to sell your products and to get in touch with your real potential clients. They will also spread the word in their networks because they are probably online influencers and THIS “tam tam” will even reach people still far from being able to select their interests.

I have just launched a new international social networks based on maps and blogs and I am gathering together feedback from social media experts about the best business idea for Blomap.
To be honest I do not see anything else than affiliate marketing even if it looks quite difficult to manage, since whoever joins Blomap can post information and links…
Any suggestion?”
